FIELD: preparation of multi-component mixtures in mass-exchange apparatus. SUBSTANCE: proposed mixer includes mixing unit, pipe lines for supply of components to be mixed and mixing chamber. Mixing unit has at least two stages located coaxially. Each mixing stage is provided with swirling unit for one of components to be mixed and branch pipe for ejection of another component. Swirling unit of each mixing stage is located on the outside of respective ejection branch pipe for ejection of component of lesser density as compared with density of component being swirled. It embraces pipe line with swirled flow of previous stage. Swirling unit of each subsequent stage ensures swirling of components in direction opposite to direction of swirling of previous stage. Provision is made for regulation of degree of swirling of swirling unit of last mixing stage. Components are fed to mixing stage of mixing unit via pipe lines where intensive mixing is performed for obtaining final mixture. Final mixing is perform in common mixing chamber.
