FIELD: continuous clarification of water under action of centrifugal forces. SUBSTANCE: proposed hydraulic cyclone has swirling unit and vortex separator with holes for discharge of separated components. Swirling unit includes cylindrical vortex chamber with tangential water supply duct. Located coaxially relative to chamber is cylindrical tubes of vortex separator. Slotted hole made over generatrix of tube is closed at two points by adjusting blinds, thus forming holes for discharge of separated components. Tube has hole at its end. Starting flow twisted in vortex chamber is admitted to cylindrical tube of separator. Under action of centrifugal forces, flow is separated into components. Solid particles are discharged through hole found in tube wall which is nearest to swirling unit. Clarified water is discharged through next hole. Oil admixtures and gas contained in water are discharged through hole at tube end. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 dwg
