FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: pond-evaporator has banked ground designed with slope of 0.001 and conforming at a maximum to territory relief in lower part of ravine or land with directed slope. Pond-evaporator is provided with sections hydraulically communicating with one another and equipped with anti-percolation screen. Sections are separated with earth dams provided with water discharges. Evaporative plates of porous, preferably black, material with increased capillary effect are laid in equally spaced relation in each section of pond-evaporator over the entire surface thereof, with spacing being equal to 50-100 mm. Evaporative plates are interconnected through flexible binders. Pond- evaporator of such construction allows residual high-mineralized brines to be evaporated with the use of natural climatic factors, in particular, under the action of solar rays and may be used for utilization of brines in irrigated agriculture and part of water for industrial and agricultural water supply systems.
