FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly for sealing and repairing joints of concrete and reinforced concrete irrigation canal linings and watering systems.

SUBSTANCE: method involves applying thin glue layer on end surfaces of lining panels to be joined; placing profile sealing packing between lining panels, filling joint with cement grout or with fine concrete with compacting thereof up to glue hardening. Thin glue layer is applied before joint filling on areas of profile sealing packing contact with joint filling cement. Part of profile sealing packing made as strip of flexible material and having anchoring ribs with freely deformable compensating crease formed between ribs is covered with non-cohesive covering. Functional joint includes shaped sealing packing of elastoplastic material, embedded in non-hardened concrete and joint filling material. Thin glue layer is applied on profile sealing packing and contact areas of concrete panels with filling material. Filling material is made of cement grout or of fine concrete which is placed between panels simultaneously with placing sealing packing between panels and with filling material compacting up to glue hardening. Glue according to the first embodiment includes liquid soda glass, sodiumphosphate, Portland cement or blast-furnace cement, quartz sand, andesite powder. Glue according to the second embodiment includes polymer, liquid, quartz sand and optionally grinding dust.

EFFECT: increased quality of obtained joint and reliability of joint sealing, prevention of water losses, improved ecology.
