FIELD: lubricants. SUBSTANCE: exhausted mineral oils and their mixtures are treated with 15-20% aqueous solution of sodium metasilicate (modulus 0.5-0.9) in amount 5-7% of the weight of exhausted oil during 25-30 min, after which emulsion is settled, centrifuged, and thus obtained oil is vacuumized at 80-90 C and absolute pressure 100 mm Hg during 20-30 min.
