FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of cleaning spent oil, wherein spent oil is mixed with an alkaline reagent in different ratio and the cleaned oil is then settled, wherein the reagent used is a caprolactam waste - alkaline adipinic plasticiser.
EFFECT: reducing wastes from alkaline treatment and restoration of operating properties of spent transformer oil using alkaline adipinic plasticiser wastes from caprolactam production.
