FIELD: mining, particularly, reclamation of ground surface of water body littoral zone. SUBSTANCE: method includes leaving of safety pillars under water bodies, formation of water-spreading dikes and reclamation. Reclamation of ground surface of water body littoral zone is carried out by ground surface deformation by lowering water body below positive elevation of littoral zone by working longwall in safety pillar directly under water body. In this case, barrier pillars are left over longwall edges. Longwall width D is selected depending on thickness m of extracted bed required and sufficient to provide for prevention in rock mass, after longwall working and rock sagging in zone of compression, of formation of water-conducting fissures communicating the water reservoir with mine workings, and for formation above barrier pillars of water-protective embankment on ground surface, and for lowering of water body itself bellow positive elevations of littoral zone of ground surface. Parameter D is determined by mathematical formula. In case when thickness of extracted bed is in exceeds of H/20, water flow of water body is temporally directed over artificial temporary waterways. EFFECT: efficient reclamation of littoral zone and reduced mineral losses in pillars. 2 dwg
