METHOD OF ERECTION OF UNDERGROUND STRUCTURES IN HOLLOWS OF EARTH SURFACE AND ARTIFICIAL CUTS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: erection of underground structures. SUBSTANCE: method includes forming of supporting members in cut flanks, mounting of ceilings above cut and roof recultivation. Flanks of hollow or cut are reinforced with hollow retaining blocks and monorails installed in them to form bulkhead in form of wedge with its top downward. Installed in wedge top are hollow blocks along cut axis to form longitudinal main line. Bulkhead is made of combined blocks to form raising main line with monorails and alternating them with hollow functional magazines of blocks. Cut hollow is filled with structural functional blocks to establish thrusting force. In forming of steep or vertical bulkheads with hollow retaining blocks, the latter are made in form of hollow trapezium and installed by alternating their long and short bases towards cut ground mass and fastening the short bases with ground mass by anchors.
