FIELD: road vehicles. SUBSTANCE: proposed covering of vehicle body for carrying loose loads provided with main sides and extensions 1 has guides with carriages 4, 5 secured on extensions for movement in opposite directions along longitudinal axis of body and elastic canvas top consisting of two parts 9, 10 each connected to carriage and extension. Carriage drive has L-shaped levers coupled with vertical axles of body sides and mechanically coupled with carriage, and furnished with synchronous- action turning mechanism. Levers are interconnected by power drive in form of double-action hydraulic cylinder and additional larger- diameter power hydraulic cylinder connected with body side extension. Rod of larger diameter hydraulic cylinder is hinge-connected with eye of double-arm lever. Main hydraulic cylinder control line includes load pickup for connecting piston space of additional hydraulic cylinder in one position with drain, and in other position, when piston space of main hydraulic cylinder.
