FIELD: photogrammetry, in particular, digital photogrammetry, applicable for cadastre surveys, large-scale topographic surveys, mine surveying, prospecting work and monitoring of extended objects, also may be used in other branches of national economy. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in installation of the surveying device over the preset point of surface, plan survey of the surface of the preset scale. Then the surveying device is lowered to the height of survey of an increased scale providing a confident recognition of the reference point on the digital photograph. The surveying device is moved in the horizontal plane so that the reference point would come to the field of vision of the surveying device. A survey of the surface reference point is made. Then the surveying device is moved to the next point of the surface to a distance providing for the necessary overlapping of the digital photo of the preset scale. Processing of the survey materials is performed. EFFECT: enhanced precision of cadastre and topographic surveys, improved conditions for construction of phototriangulation for the area of work, enhanced economical effect and simplified surveying work, automated processing of information, provided calibration of the surveying equipment. 2 cl, 2 dwg
