FIELD: measuring equipment, in particular, monitoring of main pipe-lines. SUBSTANCE: the tool has a sealed container, path-control transducers, instrument units fastened inside the body, electronics unit for detection of the transducer signals, storage batteries and a measuring module in the form of a cube-shaped body. Three fiber-optic gyroscopes and three accelerometers with an orthogonal mutual orientation of the sensitivity axes are installed on the inner faces of the body. The module is closed with a permalloy jacket, whose thickness provides for reduction of the value of tool magnetic strength to the minimum allowable values for these transducers. One face of the body is perpendicular to the tool longitudinal axes. The geometric center of the three accelerometers is matched with the center of suspension of the container. The body of the measuring module is connected by fasteners to the tool container. The module body may be connected to the containers by fasteners through elastic-damping members. The fasteners are installed on the face of the measuring module body perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the tool container. The elastic-damping members are made with a stiffness corresponding to expression: , where: ωM-frequency of natural vibrations of shock-absorbed measuring module; Vtool the mean value intrapipe linear velocty; LSUP - distance between the rows of the front and rear wheels (cups); ωV - the mean value of the frequency band of tool vibrations; ci - stiffness coefficients along the respective axes of suspension; m-mass of measuring module. EFFECT: enhanced precision of operation of the tool due to reduced external actions caused by complementary accelerations, vibrations and magnetic field strength inside the tool. 3 cl, 3 dwg
