FIELD: nondestructive testing, applicable for testing of the spatial position of the main long-spread pipe-lines and reference of their longitudinal axis to the topographic or geographic maps.
SUBSTANCE: the device consists of a sealed container, elastic collars in the front and rear parts of the container and has path-control transducers, instrument assemblies fastened inside the body, on-board computer, memory for recording of the transducer signals, storage batteries and a measurement module containing three orthogonally arranged fiber-optical gyroscopes and three orthogonally arranged accelerometers. The measurement module has three integrating assemblies, multi-channel analog-to-digital converter and a microcontroller. Each integrating assembly has an operation amplifier, capacitor, the first and second resistors, quick-acting electromagnetic relay with normally open contacts. The signal outputs of the fiber-optical gyroscopes are connected to the inputs of the respective integrating operation amplifiers, connected to whose parallel-integrating capacitors are the normally open contacts of the quick-acting electromagnetic relays controlled from the microcontroller that receives the output signals of the integrators via the analog-to-digital converter. When the voltage of one of the integrators attains the preset voltage, the relay connected to this integrator is cut in, its contacts close the capacitor plates, and the voltage at the capacitor drops to zero. At the zero position at the capacitor plates the microcontroller cuts off the relay. The binary-coded values of voltages acting at the outputs of the integrators, acceleration transducers are accumulated in the microcontroller memory, and then rerecorded in the memory of the on-board computer for packaging of the information and rerecording of it in the on-board data memory. The memorized information is rerecorded in the stationary computer for analysis in the laboratory conditions.
EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity to low values of angular velocities of turns of the topographic tool moving in the pipe-line, wide band of angular velocities at which the intratubular tool-topograph can pass the longitudinal bends of the pipe-line as well as reduced sensitivity of the topographic equipment to angular vibrations.
