FIELD: cleaning of measurement electrode of amperometric analyzers from fouling by organic, molecular surface active substances, oil products, oils, colloid particles. SUBSTANCE: cleaning is conducted by application of additional voltage on measurement electrode in the form of heteropolar pulses following one another. Their amplitudes should be within limits from 0.5 to 6.0 V, length of first pulse should be from 0.1 to 5.0 s and length of second pulse should be 5.0 s or under. In the capacity of pulses there are used sequences of shorter pulses corresponding to them which polarity, amplitudes and total length satisfy above-mentioned conditions. EFFECT: simplified procedure making cleaning cheaper. 1 cl, 1 tbl
