FIELD: analytical methods. SUBSTANCE: determination is conducted by measuring current strength emerging from reduction of chlorine on electrode of titanium or carbon materials at measuring electrode potential against reference electrode within a range of +150 to -450 mV. In case of carbon (e.g. graphite) electrode, chlorine reduction proceeds at potentials between +150 and go - 200 mV. In case electrode of titanium or titanium alloys containing at least 90% titanium, potentials between - 100 to - 450 mV are employed. Material of reference electrode is copper or its alloys containing at least 60% copper. EFFECT: simplified process. 4 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 2 ex
