FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to control alternating current electric motors (synchronous, synchronous-hysteresis or asynchronous) both of general and special assignment without access to shaft, for instance, gyroscopic motors or motors employed in multimotor electric drives of synchronous rotation. According to procedure determining emf of rotor of synchronous and current of rotor of asynchronous electric motors fed from static voltage converter phase of emf of rotor of synchronous and current of rotor of asynchronous electric motors are established by phase of second derivative of phase current of electric motor in one of commutation intervals (π/3÷2π/3)+nπ or (2π/3÷2π/3)+nπ of inverter of static voltage converter with reference to value π/2, where n=0, 1, 2,..., first derivative of phase current is found in point of vanishing of its second derivative in one of commutation intervals (π/3÷2π/3)+nπ or (2π/3÷2π/3)+nπ of inverter. Value of emf of rotor of synchronous electric motors and of current of rotor of asynchronous electric motors are found in agreement with obtained value of first derivative and specified parameters of particular electric motor. EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of synchronous and asynchronous electric motors in system of electric drive, supplied from static voltage converters incorporating inverter with rectangular-stepped form of output voltage. 3 cl, 17 dwg
