FIELD: fire alarm signaling systems. SUBSTANCE: method for forming fire alarm signals comprises steps of detecting in monitored zone degree of smoking up exceeding standard value by means of pickup of first set of pickups; simultaneously at detecting increased degree of smoking up detecting presence or absence of human being in monitored zone by means of pickup of second group of pickups; forming fire alarm signal at simultaneous detection of increased degree of smoking up and absence of human being in said zone. Apparatus for forming fire alarm signals includes smoke pickup and in addition it includes movement pickup and switching unit whose control inlet is connected to outlet of movement pickup and whose signal inlet is connected to outlet of smoke pickup. Outlet of switching unit is connected to outlet of apparatus. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of forming fire alarm signals, lowered possibility for forming false alarm signals. 4 cl, 3 dwg
