CAR INTERIOR TRANSFORMABLE MOCKUP Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to three-dimensions seating mockups used for evaluation of pose of driver, position of automobile sets and refinement of outer shape and appearance of car saloon. Rigid welded frame and load-bearing members of metal skeleton with fitted-on mounting panels with elements of interior, or without such panels, are connected through fastening holes, part of which is made in form of slots, for displacement along slots independently and for rigid locking. Mounting panels with interior elements are made detachable, with preservation of their location relative to definite datum points, and wooden skeleton of upper part of saloon with fitted-on interior elements is made detachable. Load-bearing members are installed in rear part of seating mockup for mounting and demounting of additional removable mounting panel required for designing car interior with body furnished with rear shelf. Invention provides universal seating mockup of car, scale 1:1, for art designing and evaluation of mockups of interiors of different model cars to provide taking measurements and correcting relative position of interior elements in process of modeling and possibility of mounting and demounting of car interior elements for taking measurement of measuring and testing facilities.
