FIELD: controlling alternating-current power generation systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed method that may be used for instance to control devices converting dc and ac voltage into ac three-phase voltage and provides for maintaining desired voltage across filter capacitor, in its dc section, provided all power produced by synchronous generator is picked off and for affording entire range of first harmonic output voltages of inverter involves use of vector pulse-width modulator; inverters are controlled in α,β coordinate system using channel maintaining inverter input current zero wires in reversed mode relative to synchronous-generator voltage and zero phases of inverter output currents in commonly used mode relative to supply voltage and inverter power control channel. Setting signal of each inverter phase is shaped as sum of orthogonal sine-wave signal, that is, setting signal for zero phase angle of inverter current plus inverter power setting signal, desired voltage across filter capacitor, in its dc section, being maintained during synchronous-generator power take-off at generator shaft speed between nmin and nmax. For the purpose reversed inverter is controlled so that all power produced by synchronous generator is picked off and inverter is controlled in common mode so that it maintains desired voltage across filter capacitor, in its dc section, proportional to supply voltage.
