FIELD: transmission of digital information, realization of multichannel modems with parallel multifrequency compound orthogonal signals. SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention is realized due to preliminary memorization of signals corresponding to rated level of each of i-th subcarriers U0i, to computation for each subcarrier at moment of termination of elements of signal evaluating level Ui corresponding to i-th subcarrier, to averaging of computed evaluations of level Ui for each i-th subcarrier in series of information symbols received in sequence to change amplitude of cophased and quadrature components of reference signals corresponding to each subcarrier utilized in reception of next elements of signal. Each of N units processing received signal in facility for implementation of procedure is supplemented with two squarers, first computer, averager, second computer, first and second storages and two multipliers. EFFECT: reduced degree of influence of selective noise on noise immunity of reception of digital information in modems with parallel multifrequency compound orthogonal signals. 1 cl, 2 dwg
