SUBSTANCE: invention proposes the composition comprising ethambutol as an active compound and starch, calcium or magnesium stearate, lactose, gelatin and talc as accessory inert substances taken in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: ethambutol hydrochloride, 60-65; lactose, 20-30; starch, 4.0-40; gelatin, 2.0-5.0; magnesium or calcium stearate, 0.2-1.0; talc, 0.2-3.0. Method involves preparing raw, mixing indicated active compound with a filling agent, wetting, granulation, drying, powdering with a powdering mixture and tabletting. Lactose is used as a filling agent. Wetting is carried out using the combined wetting agent comprising 8-12% solution of starch sizing and 8-12% gelatin solution. The composition is made as a tablet.
