FIELD: ceramics. SUBSTANCE: method of manufacturing sector-type ceramic filter includes preliminarily manufacturing replica from mixture of paraffin hydrocarbons, after which half specified amount of blend is placed into split mould, centering template is inserted, outline of replica imprinted, and template is removed. Thereafter, replica is inserted, second half amount of blend loaded, and porous block with specified configuration and dimensions is pressed by imposing pressure on upper plunger of mold, which is displaced to a design value. Upper and lower plungers of molds are affected by vibroloading for 10-15 sec. Blanc is discharged, dried, fried from replica material at temperature below inflammation temperature of paraffin hydrocarbons utilized, which are transferred into reuse stage. Resulting block is dried and baked at 1200-1300 C. EFFECT: improved quality of ceramic filter. 1 tbl
