FIELD: technology of hole drilling. SUBSTANCE: seam pressure and full porosity within limits of seam thickness are determined in correspondence with procedure at least in three holes in which geostatic pressure in hole and pressure of hydraulic seam fracture are found. Share of area occupied by rock skeleton in plane of formation of crack of hydraulic seam fracture as well as design values of coefficient of side outward pressure as magnitudes of variation row are computed per each hole by proposed mathematical dependencies. Statistical characteristics of coefficient of side outward pressure in seam of porous rock are found by specified mathematical dependencies. EFFECT: increased authenticity in determination of statistical characteristics of coefficient of side outward pressure in seam of porous rock with due account of porosity and actual seam pressure. 1 cl, 2 dwg, 4 tbl
