FIELD: mining industry; applicable in dust control in driving of mine workings by drilling and blasting method, especially of workings with large cross-sections. SUBSTANCE: dust suppressing device body carries diffuser whose external size corresponds to size of working clear dimension, and internal size corresponds to body of dust suppressing device. Diffuser consists of two parts of metal frame on which rubberized band is pulled up. Frame one part is rigidly secured to device body, and its other part is extensible from the first part. Air current passing the diffuser enters device body where it is swirled by air current swirler. Then, air current gets into zone of dust suppression formed between jets of opposite flows of sprayed water from main and additional sprayers. Finest fractions of dust are wetted in zone of dust suppression with dispersed water particles. Suppressed dust is withdrawn from device through slime separator. EFFECT: higher efficiency of suppression of dust from air current passing through dust suppressing device. 2 dwg
