FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: primary dusty air is fed to the cylindrical separation chamber along the lower channel and secondary air is simultaneously flowed along the upper channel. The flows, passing through the swirlers, form descending and ascending air streams cycloning in one direction, during the interaction of which the suspended particles fall out. Before entering the separation chamber, dusty air flows go through the low-velocity Venturi tube, in which air is sprayed with liquid by means of injectors arranged to meet the incoming flow of dusty air. At the same time, preliminary coarsening of the dust particles takes place with the formation of larger agglomerates, the separation of which considerably increases.
EFFECT: method allows to significantly increase the efficiency of the dust collecting device and the cleaning degree of dusty gases, and to reduce energy costs.
