FIELD: electronic engineering; switch-mode power supplies with overcurrent protective gear. SUBSTANCE: voltage switch incorporating provision for overcurrent protection both in transients during connection of power to load unit or to additional users upon connection of load unit and under steady state conditions has electronic switch that passes current to load unit through current sensor; first and second relay members connected to current sensor output and used to control flip-flop with aid of monostable multivibrator, aperiodic section, AND and OR gates; flip-flop serves to supply power to load unit and to turn off the latter upon occurrence of overcurrent under both steady state and transient conditions, voltage switch operating current for disconnecting load unit from power supply being set and controlled depending on load parameters.
