SUBSTANCE: proposed selector switch that provides for overcurrent protection both in transients and under steady state conditions and for controlling protective gear parameters depending on load parameters has electronic switch and current sensor connected to load unit. Relay component is connected to current sensor output through OR gate and flip-flop that functions to de-energize load unit upon occurrence of overcurrent both in transients and under steady state conditions.
