FIELD: production of studded tyres for wheel transport facilities. SUBSTANCE: raw tread is pricked through by means of a guide and brought in engagement with stud. The guide is removed and at the same time a stud is installed in the tread up to immersion of the stud base in the tread in the direction of extraction of the guide. The device has a table for placing of the tread with through holes, support for pressing the raw tread band to the table having through holes aligned with the through holes in the table. For formation of hole in the tread for installation of antiskid stud provision is made for one guide. In the area of cutting edges the guide has a seat to accommodate the stud part projecting above the tread band. The device is furnished with a spring-loaded pusher installed in the rest through hole for return to the initial position after deepening of studs in the tread band. EFFECT: enhanced technology of production, reduced time of manufacture due to automation of the process. 2 cl, 4 dwg
