FIELD: methods and devices for biological purification of fluid with relatively high content of organic pollutants, mainly of sewage waters under anaerobic conditions, with formation of manure gas. SUBSTANCE: method is realized in pond in which fluid is first subjected to treatment at stage (A) of mixing and acidifying, then, subjected to treatment at stage (B) of severe contamination with recirculation of activated sludge, and at stage (C) of mild contamination fluid is subjected to anaerobic decontamination with formation of methane, and at stage (D) of secondary clarification fluid is clarified, with possible recirculation of sludge. Manure gas is trapped at stage (B) of severe contamination and stage (C) of mild contamination. Zones of severe and mild contamination are closed from atop with film impermeable for gas and forming gas collector. EFFECT: higher degree of purification, high methane yield, reduced capital outlays and higher operate reliability. 26 cl, 2 dwg
