FIELD: reprocessing of municipal solid wastes. SUBSTANCE: method involves grinding solid municipal wastes to the sizes adapter for conveyance and mixing it with biological slurry aqueous suspension, with active slit preliminarily treated at 40-100 C for 10-180 min being used as biological slurry aqueous suspension; filling it with bacteria capable of biodegradation of waste ingredients in closed fermenter operating in fluidized bed mode; providing degradation under anaerobic fermentation conditions till complete end of emission of biological gas; mixing active silt, which preferably contains 3-30% by weight of dry substance, with solid municipal wastes being in the ratio of (10:1) - (10:10) at 20-80 C for 1-30 min. Apparatus has closed hermetically sealed vessel containing filtering medium composed of nonwoven textile filaments with pore sizes within the range of 65-130 microns and permeability of 1.5-3.0 c-1. EFFECT: increased efficiency and high quality of reprocessed product. 5 cl, 2 dwg
