FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: fabric comprises warp and weft threads arranged in groups with dense and open-weave warp and weft strips made by repeat weft weaving of no more than 8 threads. At least four weft threads are involved in dense and open-weave strip. Ratio of densities of weft thread arrangement in dense and open-weave strips provides for whole number of weft threads in dense strip without considering the process of withdrawal of strip from forming zone. Fabric of such structure may be used for manufacture of blouses, shirts, linen and child's articles. EFFECT: improved consumer properties by providing definite boundaries between dense and open-weave weft strips. 1 dwg, 1 ex
