FABRIC FORMING METHOD Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves winding warp threads from weaver's beam; imparting longitudinal progressive motion to warp threads toward fabric forming zone; providing formation of aperture defined by warp threads; laying weft threads through said aperture; beating up weft thread to fabric edge by means of reed; winding fabric onto weaver's beam and compensating tightening of warp threads. Before winding of warp threads from weaver's beam, warp threads are subjected to longitudinal deformation at each revolution of weaving machine main shaft within fabric pattern repeat weft, with deformation value being equal to λ_w.d.i. = λ_w.predet.-(λ_w.u.i+λ_w.l.i), where λ_w.predet. is predetermined value of warp thread deformation in weaving machine charger, mm; i is number of weft thread in fabric pattern repeat weft or number of revolution of weaving machine main shaft; λ_w.u.i, λ_w.l.i is design deformation of warp threads in upper and lower aperture branches at i-throwing of weft during time interval before winding of warp threads from weaver's beam, mm. Method may be used for any type of weaving machine. EFFECT: optimized yarn consumption for manufacturing of unit of product and reduced irregularity of weft threads arrangement in fabric structure. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
