FIELD: electrical and radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: facility is intended to test wiring in cabinets, cassettes, bundles and wires, to locate breaks, short-circuits and wiring errors. Facility testing wiring includes body, control system and contact elements linked to it and meant for connection of object of test. Control system incorporates programmable microcontroller, text display, buzzer and power supply unit. Text display and buzzer are mounted on face plane of body and are connected to programmable microcontroller placed inside body and fitted with set of bi-directional channels energized from power supply unit. Contact elements are connected to bi- directional channels of programmable microcontroller and are mounted for installation on separable plates of front plane of body. Process of manufacture of facility is based on fabrication of invariable part identical for all objects of test that includes body with face plane made up of separable plates, control system and set of contact elements for connection of object of test with subsequent connection of contact elements to control system and for reference to invariable part of facility for particular object of test. Programmable microcontroller has built-in " self-learning " mode by reference object with compilation of table of reference states of bi-directional channels.
