FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant to test single-phase ( single- and double-pole insulated ) voltage transformers. Procedure to test single-phase voltage transformers is carried out by comparison of voltages of model and tested transformers and in process of testing voltage is fed to tested transformer. It is suggested that value of testing voltage should divided in two beforehand, accuracy of this division is checked and if voltages of divided parts are equal test is executed with the aid of model transformer connected to one part of divided voltage which is half as much as voltage of tested transformer. In case of inequality of parts of division correction of voltage value of one part of divided testing voltage is carried out with the help of phase-shifting device and then test is conducted as described above. Facility for implementation of procedure has tested and model transformers designed for connection to testing voltage, tested voltage comparator, scale-of-two divider comprising two identical transformers connected in accord with inverted circuit design to form angle of 180 degrees included between voltage vectors to midpoint of their connection model transformer being connected, phase-shifting device connected to voltage divider, two auxiliary transformers meant for connection to both parts of divided testing voltage and additional comparator intended for check of accuracy of testing voltage division in two. EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of procedure and facility thanks to employment for test of model transformers designed for voltages half as much as voltage of tested transformer. 2 cl, 2 dwg
