FIELD: angular follow-up systems with phased arrays. SUBSTANCE: method tuning angular follow-up system of monopulse radar with phased array including mutual phase inverters consists in irradiation of phased array with sounding signal on operating frequency of radar under condition of transmission, in reception of signals reflected from external aperture of phased array and passed through phase inverters of antenna elements in forward and backward directions as test signals. Accuracy of initial position of beam of phased array in equisignal direction is checked by these signals and if necessary beam of phased array is set in this direction. Thereupon calibrated error signal by angular coordinate relative to initial position of beam is input, voltage of error signal is measured and its required value proportional to input calibration error signal by angular coordinate is set. EFFECT: simplified and accelerated process of tuning of angular follow-up systems of monopulse radars with phased arrays. 5 cl, 1 dwg
