FIELD: radiolocation. SUBSTANCE: procedure specifically refers to radio engineering measurements of parameters of ionosphere by method of noncoherent scattering with use of Faraday effect and can be utilized for determination of electron concentration in specified thin layer of ionospheric plasma that depends on presence and concentration of radioactive impurities in observed zone of atmosphere, for instance, above atomic power plant. Device for establishment of electron concentration in specified region of ionosphere has synchronizer, transmitter, transmitting antenna, time delay unit, first and second receiving antennas, first and second receivers, first key, heterodyne, first and second mixers, first and second intermediate frequency amplifiers, first and second multipliers, first and second narrow-band filters, amplitude limiter, phase meter, computer, comparator, second key, first and second 90 degrees phase inverters, adder, amplitude detector and third key.
