FIELD: antenna engineering; super- broadband omnidirectional scanning antennas for various radio systems. SUBSTANCE: antenna has vertical monopole in the form of M metal rods of different length uniformly disposed over base edge of metal cone mounted with its vortex down; N symmetrically arranged straight conductors of vertical monopole connected to metal cone base; and N straight conductors of counterpoise connected to large base of truncated cone. Metal and truncated cones are joined together through insulator. Straight conductors of counterpoise and of vertical monopole are disposed along generating lines of truncated and metal cones, respectively. Metal rods and straight conductors of vertical monopole have common point of connection to inner conductor of coaxial cable. EFFECT: enlarged operating frequency band. 1 cl, 8 dwg
