FIELD: antenna engineering; miscellaneous radio antennas.
SUBSTANCE: proposed antenna has vertical dipole of length making up fraction of maximal wavelength of operating range of wavelengths which is connected to internal conductor of coaxial cable; N straight counter-poise conductors connected at angle of 145 - 150 deg. to external conductor of coaxial cable; line conductors disposed symmetrically in-between; coaxial cable and matching device disposed between line conductors in vertical dipole excitation region at angle of 15 - 25 deg. in plane orthogonal to this dipole, both connected to central conductor, matching device being interposed in series with vertical dipole base and point of connection of matching device conductors to the latter. Even number of conductors N ≥ 16 is chosen for vertical dipole and counterpoise. Newly introduced in vertical dipole, in its excitation region, are straight conductors connected at angle of 15 - 25 deg. in plane orthogonal to dipole.
EFFECT: reduced nonuniformity of antenna directivity pattern in azimuthal plane.
