FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing solution of fertilizer in irrigation water and periodically irrigating plants with the use of low-volume sprinkler units operating in wetting - drying mode at fertilizer solution consumption rate of 2-10 cu.m/hectare for wetting and drying time of 8-12 min depending on meteorological conditions; repeating wetting- drying cycles during following plant growing stages. Fertilizer solution is brine of natural mineral of sulfate bischofite of MgCl₂•6H₂O formulation, which is applied to farm crop leaves and stems by means of adhesive substance in the form of 16%- or 22%- solution of starch glue. Ratio of bischofite brine and starch glue solution in mixture is (2:1)-(4: 1). Solution of starch glue having viscosity of 18-20 s-stoke comprises starch 61 kg, sodium tetraborate 0.39 kg, caustic soda 0.91 kg, and water 210 l, and solution of starch glue with viscosity of 12-15 s-stoke comprises starch 42.4 kg, sodium tetraborate 0.39 kg, caustic soda 0.94 kg, water 210 l.
