FIELD: grain crushers. SUBSTANCE: proposed crusher has vertical cylindrical housing with loading and unloading ports, rotor with grinding hammers and sieve shell located at spaced relation to these hammers, horizontal screen and filter. Clearance between ends of hammers and shell is found from the following relationship: , where D is inner diameter of shell and d is diameter of rotor at ends of hammers. Loading port of crusher housing is located above hammers at distance from axis not exceeding 1/3 of diameter of housing. Unloading port in housing and perforations in screen of shell are made over entire area of base of housing and screen.
