DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURE SHELLS OF NEGATIVE CURVATURE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: construction and chemistry- manufacture of shells of negative curvature of synthetic polymeric materials-thermoplastic materials and thermosetting plastic, as well as of concrete, fibrous concrete, gypsum designed for use in architecture and consumption. SUBSTANCE: the device has two perforated plates mounted in whose holes by means of ball-and-socket joints are guides with the material forming the surface of negative curvature fastened on them. Mounted in the holes of the upper plate are ball-and- socket joints with guides provided with pushers installed in them. The upper ends of the pushers are provided with appliances for fastening the material of the molded surface. The pushers are actuated for taking the position of different height. The upper plate is made of two layers and connected to the lower one into a single construction with the aid of supports. The lower plate may be fastened at any height of the supports for varying the configuration of the shell for better orientation of the direction of the pushers. The device has a casing for supply of hot air up to attaining of high-elastic state by the molded material. EFFECT: provided molding of shells of negative curvature of the same type from ordinary (non- oriented) thermo softening plastic materials of different types, as well as different molding masses: thermosetting plastics, gypsum, concrete. 4 dwg
