FIELD: construction geodesy. SUBSTANCE: leveling rod is made of hollow plastic beam of double-T shape with line scale with unturned centimeter digits. Rod is composed f two parts, one of them being extendible and the other one being housing, and index pin. Index pin functions simultaneously as handle and is manufactured in the form of bilateral clamp with lock fixing length of rod and spring which is compressed while extendible part is in housing. EFFECT: decreased mass, simplified design and convenient handling. 3 dwg
