GARBAGE COLLECTOR Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: public utilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hand garbage collectors used for cleaning of yards, sidewalks, railway station areas. Proposed collector includes protection casing, cylindrical brush with mechanism to drive brush from support wheels. Bottom of casing connected with guide shields forms pockets for garbage and litter. Shackles freely suspended from shafts of cylindrical brush drive reduction gears are connected by rods on which suspended lips are fitted. Said lips are in lower position in direction of collector movement and they serve as extensions of guide shields forming bridge along which litter is swept into collector. Shackles are provided with locking mechanism. EFFECT: possibility of cleaning in two directions, moving the collector forward-backward, reduced overall dimensions. 2 cl, 4 dwg
