FIELD: automatic control systems, operation of equipment under conditions of jamming and loss of information signals, plants for scientific research. SUBSTANCE: technical result of proposed invention consists in increased accuracy and reliability of operation of control system during motor separation. According to proposed method coordinates of object of control are formed with the help of model of object of control prior to object of control getting into control field. When object of control gets into control field system compares measured coordinates of object of control with coordinates of model of object of control corresponding to present time of guidance. Threshold values of error between measured coordinates of object of control and coordinates of model of object of control corresponding to present time of guidance are set. If error between measured coordinates of object of control and coordinates of model of object of control corresponding to present time exceeds preset threshold value then object is guided by coordinates of model of object of control. If error between measured coordinates of object of control and coordinates of model of object of control corresponding to present time of guidance is less than preset threshold value then object of control is guided by measured coordinates of object of control.
