FIELD: electro-acoustics. SUBSTANCE: proposed set of loudspeakers has case-mounted high- and intermediate-frequency radiators. Intermediate-frequency radiators are made in the form of two direct-radiation boxes whose panels are spaced 90-120 deg. apart. Waveguide in the form of rectangular-section truncated pyramid is installed along symmetry axis between them, waveguide neck being connected to high-frequency radiator. Directivity-pattern shaper that functions to horizontally extend polar pattern in upper section of operating frequency band is installed in mouth between panels of intermediate-frequency radiators; it is made in the form of triangular prism whose side face is set along mentioned waveguide which provides for equalizing amplitude-frequency response of radiators. EFFECT: enhanced uniformity of radiator polar characteristics in wide frequency band. 2 cl, 5 dwg
