APPARATUS FOR SEPARATING LOOSE MIXTURE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: equipment for air separation, possibly used in agriculture, food making industry, chemical and other industry branches. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for separating loose mixture in fluid includes hopper, working organ, nozzle for feeding air flow, ready fraction collectors, excess air pressure source with drive unit. Housing of the apparatus is in the form of flow-through pneumatic chamber having in its inlet shutter for controlling air flow. Annular nozzle arranged at outlet of chamber is in the form of two plates mounted with mutual adjustable gap. Working organ of the apparatus is in the form of cone having troughs on its surface. Excess air pressure source is arranged inside flow-through chamber and it is in the form of shaft with blades. One end of said shaft is joined with electric motor; its other end is joined with working organ arranged on upper plate. Gap of annular nozzle is equal to or it is more than thickness of seeds when seeds are separated by their aerodynamic properties. Said gap is less than seed thickness at separating seeds by mass.
