FIELD: agriculture, in particular, dosed dispensing of piece objects, such as crop seeds. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing movement of seeds to dosing zone by means of device, to which vibrations are periodically applied at acceleration rate exceeding free fall acceleration; moving seeds in dosing zone along said device for each one-half period of operating cycle by vibration amplitude value through applying of loads of alternating sign to seeds. Dosing apparatus has seed bin, seed chamber with closure and working device formed as wedge-shaped trough, flexible member, drive made in the form of shaft equipped with fingers, seeding rate adjusting device, and device for breaking of seed cave formed in dosing zone. Cave breaking device is formed as rod, whose one end is connected through flexible bushing by means of screw pair for adjusting of its working length to case of dosing apparatus. Setter fingers are positioned for movement relative to drive shaft for changing of vibration amplitude. Method and apparatus are of special use in seeding of difficult-to-flow seeds.
