FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention elates to the search of heat-resistant steels working at temperature below 700 C used, for example, for making sintering machine fire bars or open-hearth furnace arch suspension cramps and so on. Proposed steel comprises components taken in the following ratio, wt.-%: carbon, 0.01-0.10; silicon, 1.1-1.9; manganese, 0.25-0.50; chrome, 5.5-7.0; nickel, 0.01-0.30; aluminum, 0.70-1.10; calcium, 0.0005-0.004; iron, the balance. Composition of the proposed steel comprises additionally limited amount of impurities in the following ratio, wt.-%: sulfur, 0.020, not above; phosphorus, 0.020, not above; nitrogen, 0.020, not above. Invention provides the enhancement of mechanical properties and technological ductility in rolling. EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of steel. 2 cl, 2 tbl
