FIELD: mining industry, particularly, mining of minerals of placer deposits. SUBSTANCE: method of underwater mining of placer deposits includes opening, extraction of sands and their transportation with help of mining complex, screening, concentration on milling complex, formation of pebble-sand-clay refuse dump. Formed after screening is pebble dump near face by storing the oversize pabble fraction in zone of mined-out space near face. In case of attaining limiting height of face pebble dump, oversize pebble fraction is stored by means of stacker onto sand-clay refuse dumps. EFFECT: higher efficiency of mining and concentration equipment with reduced improverishment and power consumption for stacker dump formation. 1 dwg
