FIELD: electrical engineering, namely methods for activating chemical reactions by means of optical irradiation. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of realizing chemical reaction at using irradiation of respective frequency, preferably fed through optical fibers to one or several irradiators whose light irradiating surfaces are in contact with reagents of chemical reaction. It is possible to concentrate irradiation flux. Wave guides and large number of such irradiators may be placed inside vessel. Method allows to influence upon chemical reaction process not only in thin layer of reagent but also in its whole volume.
