FIELD: medicine, particularly, morphometric devices in otorhinolaryngology; applicable in determination of nasal septum length governing optimal length of the first two-three loops of hemostatic tampon used in front tamponade of nose. SUBSTANCE: device has bar, retainer and vernier. Bar is made with L-shaped hook on one end and has plane over length on hook side carrying vernier. Installed on bar other end for possible motion is retainer in form of bushing with internal hole and external flat for observation of hook turning. Bushing hole, shape corresponds to bar cross-section. Flat is parallel to plane on bar. EFFECT: higher accuracy of determination of nasal septum length governing optimal length of the first two-three loops of hemostatic tampon used in front nose tamponade in conditions of nasal bleeding. 4 dwg
